The coming Windows 8.1 Start Menu as seen in leaked screenshot

A screenshot surfaced online at My Digital Life forums during the World Cup Final yesterday and it claims to showcase what Microsoft is bringing on the Start Menu of Windows 8.1.

As you can see on our featured image above, that screenshot has words in it that claim it’s Microsoft confidential. However, it may as well be a big Photoshop, though according to analysts who spoke with Neowin’s Brad Sams, the screenshot could be, in fact, very legit.

The screenshot doesn’t present a lot that’s different from what we have seen before but it’s a more concrete proof that what Microsoft first showed in the developer’s conference last April might still be in the works.

The screenshot has a lot of similarities to this one below, which is what Microsoft showed off last April in their Build developer conference.

Whether the leaked Start Menu screenshot is legit or not, it’s interesting to follow Windows 8.1 fans to see how they react to the news.

Be sure to leave your comments below regarding the new Start Menu, we’d like to hear if you have anything to add to this story. Oh! The Start Menu should be coming in 2015 just in case you didn’t know.
