Instagram finally catches up in latest Instagram 6.0 app update adding more photo-editing tools
For a long time all Instagram users have been able to do is take a photo, add a filter and post it to their Instagram account. However, that changes now after the latest Instagram update. Following the update, users can now not only choose a filter but also customize the filter to fit their desired look. Initially, users had to use applications like Adobe Photoshop to get some real editing done on any of their photos prior to uploading them but this is going to be a thing of the past, fairly.
Instagram may not provide the real deal like Adobe Photoshop does, of course it does not compare to Photoshop’s photo editing abilities, but these recent updates are supposed to bridge the divide. 200 million photo lovers all over the world use Instagram and they are expected to appreciate the new updates which enhances their levels of photography.
The intention of the new update is to allow the people who take their photos more seriously to actually get to edit them into high quality pieces before publishing them. The new tools can be found by tapping on a new wrench icon which is displayed in a horizontal grid list. New tools include the following;
- Filter strength
In the update, Instagram also updated the following already existing tools to offer better user efficiency;
- Blur/Tilt Shift
- Simplified video uploads on iOS
You can now download the new Instagram 6.0 which is available on Android, iOS and Windows Store.
