Instagram for Android Updated to Allow Sharing Videos
Instagram for Android keeps getting better and better. The Android users can now enjoy the fun of sharing videos to Instagram right from their phone gallery. What’s more is that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich was included in the update.
Before this update, it was difficult to share the videos you took on your phone, the ones that were saved in your gallery. The only way you could share the videos was to take them using the Instagram app. This basically made all the videos you took off Instagram extremely difficult to share. But, thanks to the update, you can now share the videos in your phone gallery as you did the photos. The Instagram for Android update makes Instagram 4.1 share videos just as you would the photos. All it takes is a visit to Google Play to download the recent Instagram update.
To share your Instagram videos, go to your phone gallery, and play the video you want to share, pause the video, press the share button;
Select Instagram from the sharing options provided;
At this stage, you can edit the video the video or just press the ‘done’ option to upload it to your profile on Instagram.
The process is quite similar on all Android phones, this particular screenshots were taken from Sony Xperia U running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.
If you do not have Instagram on your Android phone, Download it from Google Play store here and share your photos and videos to the world.
