A little change to the Apple Appstore to make searching for an app better

If you have updated the Appstore lately you may have have noted a new suggestion bar that highlights related apps whenever you are looking for an App.

The change is centred on keywords that you have typed. The search keeps on changing and updating as you discover new apps with more keywords showing up.

Apple has no updates at least on its website about the changes, but it could be a way to showcase apps that don’t make it to the front page of the App Store.

The tiny change involves showing a user who is searching for a particular keyword in the App Store other search terms that may also be useful. For example, a search for “calendar” may offer similar suggestions like “calendar planner” or “daily planner.”

This change comes at a time when it has become increasingly difficult to find your way through the Appstore as more and more groupings come up everyday. The Appstore has more that 450K Apps. This number is massive and for you to get an app you must search for it per the name. Tasking it sounds and sure it is. This makes some apps never to be found in the store unless you get a link from online.
