Sacramento kings take Google Glass to the court.
Google glass seems to be setting all kinds of records in terms of taking the viewer closer to the action, the device gives you a perspective that you just can’t get from the normal camera.
Well, to be true to their innovative tag, Google Glass now wants to take the observer closer into the NBA game, forget courtside seats, this will be live action, straight through the player’s eyes. Am talking about Sacramento kings’ move to incorporate Google Glass into the game and fan interaction as well.
This will make them the first team in the NBA, and generally, the first in professional sport to incorporate the device into the game. Jim Kovach, a former NFL player and key figure in the electronics company CrowdOptic, heads the project.
The Kings are expected to debut the Google Glass in January 24’s game against Indiana Pacers.
