Study shows 30% of US adults consume news off Facebook

New studies by research firm, Pew Research, shows that out of the 64% of U.S. adults that use Facebook, half of them consume news from the social media giant.

This could be a boost for news companies that depend on Facebook to share their news articles.

In the same report, stats showed that 10% of U.S adults consume news from YouTube while only 8% of U.S adults went to look for news on Twitter.

This new results when compared to the population using the social media networks in question are quite valid. We should however expect these stats to grow and change as time goes by since the other social networks are still growing in terms of users. Facebook boasts over a billion users worldwide.
