YouTube DUI confession: ‘I KILLED A MAN’
Matt Cordle an Ohio man confessed to killing a man in a video that he posted on YouTube this week.
The man who he killed was 61-year-old Vincent Canzani; the crash was back in June.
Matt has not yet been charged with any crime, but reports say that the 22 year old is a suspect in a fatal crash. The report goes on to say that, a grand jury will be tasked with indicting him for aggravated vehicular homicide.
The video itself is well-produced and authoritative, to say the list. Matt tells the story of how he was out with his friends drinking heavily. He later gets into his truck, still drunk, and ended up driving into oncoming traffic on a highway.
Matt’s face becomes clear as he reveals his name and confesses to the crime.
“When I get charged I’ll plead guilty and take full responsibility for everything I’ve done to Vincent and his family,” Matt says.
The confession was part of a post from Because I Said I Would, which is a site created last year by Alex Sheen. The site was built as a testament to his deceased father, and his principles in life, to always keep promises.
Matt heard earlier, in August, contacted the site to arrange his confession concerning the June 22 crash.
Canzani, the victim, was driving a Jeep when a driver who was obviously on the wrong way struck him. Matt’s Toyota Tundra hit Canzani’s Jeep at about 3 a.m.
Canzani died on the scene.
When the theme music finally dies down in the video, Matt makes his plea to viewers to never drink and drive.
