Of Steve Jobs time Capsule and the Lisa Mouse found in it.
Thirty years have passed since Steve Jobs buried the Lisa Mouse in Aspen, Colorado. The antique is set to make its television debut next week.
Well, last year, a long lost time capsule containing many items from the 1983 International Design Conference in Aspen, was dug up. Among the items found was one of Steve Jobs cherished items, a mouse.
The mouse is from Apple’s Lisa computer, a machine that flopped in the market, which was a stepping stone leading up to the Macintosh in 1984. The mouse was used by Jobs in a speech at the conference, where he went on about the company’s goals.
The other items buried together with the mouse include a Sears Roebuck catalog, a Rubick’s Cube, an eight-track of The Moody Blues, and a six-pack of beer. The beer was meant for whoever ended up digging the capsule.
